The Barratt World Doubles Championship from the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham

The eight doubles teams in this event are split into two groups and play on a round robin basis, with the top two pairs from each group going into the semi-finals.
The favourites to retain their title and pick up first prize of £40,000 are Australians PETER MCNAMARA and PAUL MCNAMEE.
