The programme's theme this week is holidays on the move - the kind of holidays that are increasingly tempting people to forsake the popular beach resorts and take themselves off the beaten tourist track and explore parts of a country that visitors normally overlook. John Carter drives inland from Spain's Costa del Sol, into the small hill towns and stately cities of Andalucia - a ' freewheeler ' holiday package which ties a scheduled flight to a considerably subsidised hire-car and sets you free to discover the Spain that lies behind the Costas
. Joan Bakewell journeys along the Caledonian Canal which links the lochs of the Great Glen. Passing some of Britain's most spectacular scenery, this is a ' cruise ' that combines both narrow and broad waters, including the 23-mile long Loch Ness.
Travel experts in the studio add their information to the film reports, and Norma Shepherd occupies our consumer desk.
