The Daily Express International Trophy Race with Jackie Stewart
Murray Walker and Barrie Gill
Can James Hunt in the British Hesketh today repeat his Silverstone victory of a year ago against the challenge of Brabham, Ferrari, Lotus, McLaren, Tyrrell and those other two young British drivers Tom Pryce and John Watson ?
This 38-lap Formula One race is a curtain-raiser for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in July, and will not stop for rain because, for the first time in many years, drivers can change tyres in the pits, enlarged for 1975 at a cost of £130,000.
