Harry Watt presents
The Grierson Award
JOHN GRIERSON , founder of the British documentary film movement, inspired many of the most valuable films to be made in this country. He died three years ago. Last week at the National Film Theatre the Grierson Award was given to the director of the best British short film produced in the last year.
Tonight HARRY WATT , a friend and colleague of Grierson, presents extracts from the winning film and other leading productions which competed for the award.
