by E. Nesbit.
Dramatised in seven parts by Denis Constanduros.

The children have come to accept and indeed enjoy their new and strange life in a country cottage near the railway line. But the fact that Mother has to work so hard worries them - and when she has fallen sick because of this, they have felt bound to do something about it.
Bobbie, Peter, and Phyl have made friends with an old gentleman who at their request has sent Mother a hamper during her illness, but instead of being grateful Mother is very angry.

Dr. Steve Wojeck a tough, hard-hitting big-city coroner who fights for what he believes in
A new film series from Canada starring John Vernon

A savage killing in an hotel room reveals a racket run by two young homosexuals. When they are charged with murder a blackmailer intervenes and the case takes on a wider, more sinister aspect. Because, as it soon emerges, the particular aberration which the young men have been exploiting is by no means confined to the seamy world which they inhabit. In the most respectable and respected sections of the community it exists - however well concealed.
