Today the leading names of motor racing compete at one of the fastest circuits in Europe in the opening round of the 1969 European Formula Two Championship Series.
The entry for the W.D. & H.O. Wills Trophy Race includes drivers from over a dozen countries, and with such names as 1968 World Champion Graham Hill, Jackie Stewart-at present leading the 1969 World Championship -and Jochen Rindt, undisputed King of Formula Two racing in 1968, among the entries, the scene is set for one of the most exciting races of the year.
This Hampshire circuit, new home of the British Automobile Racing Club, saw its first international racing last Easter.
