Reflections on architecture and planning in Poland by Noel Moffett , A.R.I.B.A.
The bloodless revolution of October 1956 ended Stalinist social realism in Poland, and gave her architects new freedom. But the speaker found that, although there is much interesting new building, there are also severe handicaps arising from the past.
