Talk by Gilbert Murray , o.M.
In the first of three talks to mark The centenary of the birth of the author of The Golden Bough Dr. Murray speaks in particular about Sir James Frazcr 's contribution to classical studies.
A reading from the works of Sir James Frazer will be broadcast next Friday, and the remaining talks will be given by the Rev. Victor White on January 17 and by Professor A. Macbeath on January 24.
