The Right of the Crown to Withhold Evidence

Professor of Comparative Law in the University of Cambridge and Fellow of Trinity College
Last June the Lord Chancellor made a statement in the House of Lords on the Crown privilege to refuse disclosure of documents as evidence in court. In this talk Professor Hamson compares the position of English and French administration in this respect.
