From the point of view of a Grandmother
Listeners are to hear the point of view of a grandmother, both about children and about her own grandchildren. She will speak of the shocks for the grandmother in watching the mother of her first
grandchild. She learns the wisdom of silence-the responsibility is not hers. She will show how her own modern active life has changed her standpoint, though she necessarily views the coming generation in perspective. How long is a child a child -up to nursery age, up to school age or longer? It may well be that her daughter remains a child in her eyes even when her grandchildren are grown up. She will discuss education. the astonishing methods of the new education, the uninhibited baby who must never hear the words * Don't' or ' No '. But whatever she thinks of it all, she wishes the new generation good luck.
