Kevin Fitzgerald returns today to that light-hearted humorous type of talk with which he made his name on the air. Mrs. Widgin hides the identity of a distant cousin of his - gay and light-hearted herself, and - irresponsible.
Fitzgerald will describe in his inimitable way how she came over from Ireland and wanted to go to France for a holiday. The filling-in of her passport plays quite a part in the laughter of it all.
A hill-billy programme presented by Glyn Jones with Mai Jones , Marjorie Ralph , John Morgan , Lyn Joshua , Frank Davison , and the Male Quartet
R. Gamble and W. B. Williams
Birmingham is to be to the fore this year with the ' Grow More Honey ' movement, inasmuch as the Birmingham and District Bee-Keepers' Association has been granted a plot of ground to be used as an apiary in one of the public parks by the Birmingham City Corporation. Here the beginner may keep a hive side by side with the expert, and learn from him and from the various demonstrations and lectures that are planned how to become an expert bee-keeper himself.
W. B. Williams is secretary to the Association, and will tell Gamble and listeners all that is being done to encourage Birmingham people to collect the nectar in the district that would otherwise go to waste.
Conductor, P. S. G. O'Donnell

An adaptation by M. H. Allen of the short story by Somerset Maugham
Cast
The action takes place in Mrs. Albert Forrester's flat near the Marble Arch, and in Mrs. Bullfinch's rooms in Kennington Road
Production by M. H. Allen
This is the story of Mrs. Albert Forrester, the authoress, and of how she came to write her magnificent detective story 'The Achilles Statue'. Known in the literary world as 'the mistress of the semi-colon', Mrs. Forrester has been prolific but never a best-seller.
It is distressing for the lady when her husband, weary of doing the housekeeping and taking a back seat, has made off with her cook, Mrs. Bullfinch. But it is through her endeavours to get him back that Mrs. Forrester is able to write her great thriller.
