In 1958 in part of Scotland a brand of rats appeared that did not die when they ate warfarin. In 1962 the same thing happened in Wales. Now mice are coping quite nicely on warfarin, thank you-and they are much more widely spread. Perhaps we had better call for the Pied Piper.
