A mid-morning mixture
Jack Train, Dick Francis, Denny Dennis, Helen Clare, Billy Ternent and his Sweet Rhythm Orchestra.
The music of this show will be in 'sweet rhythm' style, but there will be plenty of laughs in it. First of all, Jack Train, who of imitations over the air since war broke out, will perform a new five-minute act. He will play the part of about half-a-dozen cheapjacks auctioneer! at a village fete.
More laughs will come from Dick Francis , who will deliver a military monologue which has nothing to do with the present war. He will be Major Bagshaw the Big Shot from Bagshot, and will give some of his experiences in India ... 'I was crawling on my belly in the jungle near Delhi, in search of elephant spoor!'

G. H. Jones
G. H. Jones has been working with and for miners all his life, either below ground or above it. He knows the miner intimately in many .Itounties, and in more than one country. His keenest memories, like his interests, lie with the miners to whom he belongs —a class of men among whom endurance, kindness, and courage often amounting to heroic self-sacrifice are the unmarked commonplace of daily life more than in most fields of work.
