Musical-comedy foxtrot, No. 1
Harry Fryer joined the Gaumont-British Picture Corporation eighteen years ago, and stayed with them for twelve and a half years, ending up in the position of musical director at the Tivoli cinema in the Strand.
Later he succeeded Louis Levy at the Shepherd's Bush Pavilion, and after touring various paramount theatres he went to the Chiswick Empire some three years ago.

The first broadcast of this perennial favourite, which has even survived the war. was given in July, five years ago. They ran for three years on the halls - Stanelli, Norman Long ('Old Teeth and Trousers'), and 'Jim Emery' (Jack Wynne) never missing a performance. Of those broadcasting today, Sidney Jerome has been pianist at every radio show.
Now with the addition of Hutch, Mario (harp) Lorenzi, and the Three Musketeers, these wartime Bachelors of Stanelli's go merrily on.
