Here is a show which should get over the atmosphere of Canadian soldiers billeted in this country. Some genuine hill-billy songs will be heard, and the point of the whole thing is that the broadcast will be given by genuine Canadian soldiers in a genuine British billet. It will be topical, jolly, carefree as any sing-song given by the Canadian troops is bound to be.

Horace Finch , well known for his radio organ recitals, received his first appointment at Blackpool as pianist in the Tower Ballroom. When, however, the organ was installed in the Empress Rooms, he successfully applied for the post of solo organist. This was in 1935. From that time to this, he has been a firm favourite with listeners.
