The producer of this Variety programme is Eric Fawcett , who, although a newcomer to the BBC's sound broadcasting staff, had considerable experience with television. He was a producer at Alexandra. Palace, and also appeared as an artist in a great many television shows, particularly those of Moultrie Kelsall, whose sound version of King of the Kongo is being produced on Tuesday of this week.
Since the war Fawcett has been back on the musical-comedy stage where he was a well-known figure in pre-television days-playing the juvenile comedy part in Runaway Love at the Saville Theatre, London.
