In this episode, news of the war in Europe comes to Big Bill's bunkhouse in the Wild West through the arrival of some old newspapers from Winnipeg, and in this and the remaining three episodes we shall see its effects on the characters who frequent the bunkhouse-young Jack especially. He has just fallen in love with Lorna, who will be introduced in the next broadcast.
The signature tune, ' Rocky
