For his broadcast this evening, Percival Mackey , who is conducting the London Symphony Orchestra for the film round the life story of Leslie Stuart called Do You Remember ?, is using an entirely new mystery combination of eleven performers. In style it will be melodious and rhythmic, and its unusualness will lie in the fact that although it is a rhythmic ensemble, yet it has none of the regular features of dance combinations, such as sax or brass sections. Neither does it employ piano, drums, or accordion.
The vocalists are all well-known broadcasters. Monti Ryan will be remembered for her frequent appearances in television before the war.

' This Swing Business '
Charles Chilton will try to explain something about it and play you some records
Here is the first of a new series that will give free rein to rhythm of all kinds during the weeks to come. * Kings of Jazz ' has now come to an end, though from time to time this or that ' king' will appear in the ' Rhythm Club' programmes. The broadcasts will be infinitely varied in scope. One week you may hear hot trumpet playing, the next straightforward recordings of a famous dance orchestra. Well-known jazz singers will come to the ' Club ' on records, and soloists of every kind will give of their best.
Charles Chilton will introduce the Club tonight, and explain what it is all about. Next week you will hear a recording of a swing broadcast in the United States.
