From a town in the North-East of Scotland featuring
Our tallest story—our tastiest dish-how the gardens are doing-an old soldier speaks-the view down our main street and presenting local talent
Assembled by Alan Melville
Introduced by John R. Allan
Although the name of the town chosen for these programmes is not announced until the night of the broadcast, it can be disclosed that the microphone will be taken on this occasion to a town in the centre of an agricultural district of Scotland. All the usual features will be included, and two favourite Scottish broadcasters will make a welcome return-Dufton Scott telling his tallest story and Grace Leslie singing songs of the district. As is the custom when ' Parish Mag' is broadcast from Scotland, tonight's introductions will be made by John R. Allan , who himself needs no introduction to listeners.
