played by Horace Finch at the theatre organ
Horace Finch , well known for his radio organ recitals, received his first appointment at Blackpool as pianist in the Tower Ballroom. When, however, the organ was installed in the Empress Rooms, he successfully applied for the post of solo organist. This was in 1935. From that time to this, he has been a- firm favourite with listeners, who, one and all, show their appreciation in fan-mail letters whenever he comes on the air.
