A new musical parlour game presented by Neil Munro with David Miller as Master of Ceremonies, and Sandy Macpherson as the artist
Competitors must think of a song title with a colour in it. For example, one competitor might say
' Red Sails in the Sunset' and another Silver Threads among the Gold '. The time limit for thinking of the next song title will be one chorus played by Sandy.

A magazine programme of sports, sports gossip, prospects, reminiscences
Howard Marshall introducing
Rowe Harding and Kenneth Rankin
While the first wartime Rugby season has been necessarily a thin one compared with those of pre-war years, it has nevertheless provided some first-class football.
W. Rowe Harding is going to look back over the events of the last few months, and he will speak of them with the authority of one of the greatest Welsh three-quarters who have ever lived. Kenneth Rankin is a sporting journalist who has broadcast on many occasions, and this evening he is going to recall a great ' vintage ' season of Rugby football some fifty years ago.

Twenty years ago Serge Krish founded the Modem Trio-himself piano, Melzak violin, Manucci cello. In 1923 they toured America and broadcast on their return. Five years later Krish founded his Septet, which has been on the air regularly ever since.
He will always be remembered for founding the New Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, composed of eighty instrumentalists who had fallen on hard times. Their Sunday afternoon concerts were a great success at the People's Palace until it was taken over for war purposes. They are now being continued at the Central Hall, Westminster.
