She then meets doctors who have invited healers into their surgeries, but it's in the US that she makes an amazing discovery. Patients who underwent a fake knee operation - no actual surgery took place - recovered as well as those who had the real procedure. Could each of us have a potent self-curative mechanism that healers have found a way to manipulate?
