Greg Foxsmith is an experienced criminal lawyerwho has volunteered to mentor Michael, a 21-year-old with convictions for football violence and theft, and Carla, a recovering heroin addict. Vast work experience with ex-prisoners looks likely to stand Greg in good stead in his adopted role, but this is quite different. A continuous disappearing act from Michael and the temptation of drugs for Carla means Greg certainly has his work cut out.
