Gary Lineker introduces live coverage from Portman Road as George Burley's Ipswich Town take on Italian giants Inter Milan in this Uefa Cup third-round, first-leg tie.

In the last round, Ipswich belied their mediocre start to the Premiership by beating Helsingborgs IF 3-1 away from home earlier this month, striker Marcus Stewart taking them through with two late goals after Hermann Hreidarsson had cancelled out the Swedes' early opener.

Inter Milan, however, are likely to present a far tougher proposition. Ironically, they went out of the Champions' League in the qualifying rounds to the aforementioned Helsingborgs IF, but their Serie A form this season has so far been strong. They won the Uefa Cup three times during the nineties, and can boast home-grown talent in forwards Christian Vieri and Nicola Ventola, as well as quality imports such as Brazilian striker Ronaldo and Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf. Establishing an advantage will be vital for Ipswich before the Suffolk side visit the intimidating San Siro stadium in two weeks' time.
