In the story chair, Nancy Quayle

Play School has a lot of music this week. The opening poem is about the old King of Dorchester who had a little orchestra, and each day you can see one of the musical instruments from the King's 'ceremonial band'.
Nancy Quayle returns to the storyteller's chair with three true stories, and on Thursday Valerie Pitts reads The Big River, a picture book by Elizabeth Rose, and Gerald Rose. After seeing a river through the round window Brian Cant plays some music to give you an idea for a picture.
