"Sea Shell, Sea Shell,
Sing me a song, please!
A song of ships, and sailor men,
And parrots, and tropical trees"
(Amy Lowell)

This week Play School is about the sea, ships, and faraway places. Monday is Miranda Connell's first day in Play School, and after seeing real castles through the arched window she and Rick Jones try to build a castle.
Eileen Colwell's three stories are 'The Stamping Elephant', 'The Princess and the Pea', and 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff'. The picturebook on Thursday is Borka, the adventure of a goose with no feathers by John Burningham.
