Today's special guest is Solomon Burke , who during the 40s and 50s broadcast his preaching from his own temple - "Solomon's Temple" - before embarking on a recording career. He remains one of the few surviving genuinely soulful singers. Also, DJ El Nino dicusses the impact of Latin gospel music on the gospel club scene.

3/3. Stuart Maconie profiles Oscar-winning composer, arranger and pop musician Anne Dudley, whose talent has elevated the recordings of Dollar, ABC, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Malcolm McLaren. But she is perhaps best known for her innovative work with 80s pop experimentalists and sampling trailblazers the Art of Noise. The story concludes with a look at Dudley's arrangements for the Pet Shop Boys, George Michael, Electronic, Pulp, Alison Moyet and Will Young, who contributes a few words, along with Stephen Fry, Trevor Horn, Tom Jones, Chris Thomas and Lucy O'Brien.
