A live broadcast from Blackpool to mark the switching-on of the annual lights spectacle, first staged in 1912 in honour of Queen Victoria's daughter Princess Louise's visit to the town. Presented by Mark Goodier, with performances by Ronan Keating, Goldfrapp, the Zutons, Shayne Ward and Paolo Nutini, and a special celebrity guest to throw the switch for the million lights along Blackpool's six miles of promenade.
