Schumann interpreters Ian Bostridge and Graham Johnson join in discussions with studio guests Judith Chernaik and John Deathridge , and Susan Youens introduces a selection of settings of Heine by composers other than Schumann.
Music includes at 9pm a complete performance of Schumann's Dichterliebe, Op 48, by tenor Fritz Wunderlich with pianist Hubert Giesen.
