Tonight's opera focuses on the theme that preoccupied Mozart more than any other - forgiveness. Sesto is dominated by an older woman, Vitellia, who persuades him to burn
Rome and murder his friend Tito, the emperor. The plan fails but Tito extraordinarily forgives everyone. Presented by Stephanie Hughes. who also explores the opera's themes with singer Joyce DiDonato and conductor Christian Zacharias.
