Years later he travelled to Sicily with his wife and Ezra Pound , viewing mosaics he had noted in his Baedeker guidebook. When he received his
Nobel Prize in the new City Hall of Stockholm, it was in its Golden Room adorned with modern mosaic. Christine Finn reflects on the art of mosaic and how it inspired Yeats's poetry.
