Andrew Carwood of the Cardinall's Musick joins Catherine Bott in exploring music that was written about the infamous Gunpowder Plot of 1605 around the time that it took place. Featuring a concert given in Warwick by the Cardinall's Musick as part of the Early Music Network Showcase in September.

A preview of this year's London Jazz Festival, which starts next Friday, including a rare UK appearance from composer-arranger Lennie Niehaus , who performs with the BBC Big Band. Presented by Stacey Kent.
