Food Session. Tenor-saxophonist lain Ballamy brings his Anglo- Scandinavian ensemble, Food, into the studio to record tonight's session. With Arve Henriksen (trumpet and vocals), percussionist
Thomas Stronen and Mats Eilertsen on bass, and all players making use of electronics and samples, the ensemble mixes the Scandinavians' approach to space and texture with Ballamy's idiosyncratic approach to melody and harmony, producing thoroughly contemporary, delicate and engaging improvised music.
