Michael Berkeley's guest today is painter Susannah Fiennes, who recently accompanied Prince Charles on several official visits abroad, including one to China and one to the Middle East. Her recent London exhibition included a selection of paintings inspired by the landscapes and people of Uzbekistan. A keen viola player and choral singer, her musical choices include Schubert's Arpeggione Sonata, a Shostakovich string quartet, a Bach prelude and fugue, and sacred works by Handel, Brahms and Bernstein.
