With Roderic Dunnett. Quo Vadis grossed more than any MGM spectacular since Gone with the Wind and launched Rozsa on a trail of epic blockbusters. But there were also lighter moments in his film career, such as the 1949 Vincente Minnelli remake of Flaubert's
Madame Bovary. In the concert hall, Rozsa achieved box-office success with a violin concerto heard here in the celebrated performance by its dedicatee - Jascha Heifetz.
