13: The Third Revisited - Again!
Bruckner broke off work on his Ninth
Symphony to revise and rescore many of his earlier works. The Third Symphony reached a "final" form in 1888 and 1889. Stephen Johnson introduces a performance by the BBC Philharmonic, conducted by Sachio Fujioka , and explores the possibility of a programme behind the work with Bruckner scholars.
