In this legendary conversation, said by his biographer to be the only existing recording of his voice, Chandler talks about thrillers and crime with the creator of James Bond , Ian Fleming. It was first broadcast on the Third Programme in 1958, the year before Chandler's death, and is introduced by Philip French.
