Throughout the 1970s the versatile multi-instrumentalists, GENTLE GIANT, have won only a cult following in Britain, despite success in America which has rivalled that of Yes and Genesis. Their new album, The Missing Piece, is a conscious attempt by the band to make their music warmer and more accessible - an antidote to the reputation they believe they have as ' cold neo-classicists '.
