JAMESON CLARK was the first man outside the owners and builders to hear and record the news that Cunard had ordered John Brown 's ship-yard to build another giant liner.
Since then, at every stage from the testing of model hulls in the experiment tank, through keel-laying, launch and during the preliminary sea trials, Clark has been on the spot with his recorder to chronicle the history of the world's most talked-about ship.
