This week the story of a siege in Hay-on-Wye when, after attacking his foster mother a psychotic convict on home leave barricaded himself and ten hostages in the attic of a dental surgery. The staff and patients were held at gunpoint for 15 hours, before the siege was brought to a dramatic end.
