Live coverage from Edgbaston of the third day's play in the first Cornhill Insurance Test match of the Ashes series, between England and Australia.
Australia, who over the last few months have firmly established themselves as the team to beat in world cricket, are hot favourites to retain the most famous prize in cricket. Despite some poor one-day results during their winter tour of Zimbabwe and New Zealand, England did manage to return home with an unbeaten record in the Test matches. They have since gone on to win all three recent one-day internationals against Australia and will be hoping to build on that success. Commentary Richie Benaud, Geoffrey Boycott, David Gower, Ian Chappell and Tony Lewis. Continues at 4.50pm on BBC2.
