Lennox Lewis returned to Britain to reclaim his birthright, and when Riddick Bowe dumped the WBC heavyweight belt in the dustbin Lewis became, by default, the first British heavyweight champion this century. In the early hours of this morning he made the second defence of his title, against Frank Bruno - the first time that two British boxers have contested a world heavyweight crown.

In the run-up to this eagerly awaited and hugely hyped bout, Inside Story gained exclusive access to the Lewis camp for a remarkable close-up portrait of the modern fight game. When it is screened, of course, the film will take on the colour of success or failure, depending on how the morning unfolds.
