A new view of us.
The Mahogany Connections Your mahogany kitchen seems a long way from the jungles of Brazil, the greenhouse effect and Coca
Cola. But they are connected, as are hamburgers, our banks, and our cars.
Deep in the rainforest, a tiny mahogany seedling pushes up towards the light. It will become a forest giant, a centre of exuberant life. But, as we order our kitchen or pick up the corned beef at the supermarket, that tree's days may be numbered ...

An electrifying evening in the company of three legendary blues musicians.
Although they had spent 25 years on the road performing their individual styles of blues guitar, Roy Buchanan, Albert Collins and Lonnie Mack had never before appeared on stage together.
That all changed in December 1985 at Carnegie Hall, New York, when this influential trio appeared to perform their own standards such as Jack the Ripper, If Trouble Was Money and Satisfy Susie, before joining forces in a storming version of the blues classic Further On Down the Road.
