Laurence Winstanley , a 24-year-old car dealer from Oldham, was last seen alive on 2 October 1988. In spite of an intensive police search he remained on the missing persons files for nearly a year. Then on 26 September 1989, the low water level in Baitings Dam, Ripponden, West
Yorkshire revealed his body. He had been murdered shortly after he disappeared.
Tonight police appeal for your help to find his killer.
