Sam [text removed] was 11 and was not quite sure where he lived. The only thing he knew for certain was that he went to Woolverstone Hall - a stately mansion in Suffolk which is now a boarding school. It's not a traditional public school, but a comprehensive - and it's run, improbably, by the Inner London Education Authority.
For boys like Sam, Woolverstone is security.
Many of the pupils here come from deprived homes. It's more expensive than Eton. ILEA wants to close Woolverstone, but Headmaster, Richard Woolett , is not prepared to give up.... Producer RICHARD DENTON % CEEFAX SUBTITLES

When a group of macho footballers who haven't won a match in two years take on a private coach and start winning, the team have only one problem. The Body Snatchers Narrated by David Attenborough.
In the Panamanian jungle and deserts of Arizona armies of ants are raiding and pillaging insect communities. The army ants of the rainforests are nomadic killers. But the Amazon ants of North
America are slave raiders, plundering the nests of other ants. Eggs and larvae are carried off to the Amazon colonies and raised as slaves. Photography STEPHEN BOLWELL Written and produced by KEENAN SMART . BBC Bristol (R)
