Last year, Ernest Barrie received one of the toughest sentences ever given in the Scottish courts - 18 years for armed robbery at a bank outside Glasgow in May 1986. Securicor guards delivering cash to the Clydesdale Bank were attacked by two men, one wielding a pickaxe, the other a silver revolver. The gang made away with £40,000. Part of the evidence shown in court was a video of the robbery recorded by the bank's own security cameras. Rough Justice has taken a closer look at that video and, after expert analysis, produces new evidence which argues that the wrong man was convicted.
