starring
Andra Millian Kevin Costner
She is Stacy Lancaster , a shy and introverted law student who seems to have a sixth sense when it comes to playing cards. He is Will Bonner , a streetwise, gutsy gambler who has a blackjack system that he claims just can't fail. Together they plan to 'play fair' and sting a casino for every cent they can. But as they hit a heavy winning streak, the gambling house boss, Shecky Poole , employs methods that are not out of any rule book ...
In his first major film role, Kevin Costner displays the star quality that cinema audiences have seen more recently in Brian De Palma 's The Untouchables.

with Desmond Wilcox
The drama of people's lives and the journeys they make. Ken Murray , a 73-year-old widower, was enjoying retirement in one of the quietest villages in Tasmania. He had been sub-postmaster and his family, his grandchildren and his fishing kept him happy and occupied. But an accident of death and inheritance turned him overnight into the Earl of Dunmore, a senior member of the British aristocracy. He inherited one of Scotland's older and braver titles and all the responsibilities of a clan chieftain, but no money, no land and many distinguished relatives. And little
Ken Murray became determined to fulfil an ambition. He wanted to travel to London, take his seat in the House of Lords, perhaps meet the Queen, and pass on to his children a proper inheritance. The Visit travelled with him on a 16,000-mile journey via a historic ceremony in Virginia (where one of his ancestors had been the Colonial Governor) to achieve that ambition. He's back now, in the bungalow he built himself, with memories of mink and ermine and those few weeks in London - living like a Lord.
