On 9 December last year Delia Smith and Terry launched Food Aid and asked viewers to send in their favourite recipes. There was an overwhelming and immediate response of over 10,000, from which 150 have been selected to appear in the Food Aid Cookery Book. Today it's launched at a reception at the Savoy Hotel, London, and Terry and Delia are joined by the viewers and celebrities whose recipes are in the book. Plus a chance to see two of the entries for A Song for Europe.

Requiem received its world premiere at St Thomas's Church in New York last year, and Omnibus cameras were there to record the event for BBCtv. Within weeks the Pie Jesu movement had climbed to the top of the pop charts, and the Requiem itself has since been scheduled for performance in concert halls around the world. Last month the LP of Requiem won a Grammy award for the best contemporary classical recording of 1985 and the music was used for a new ballet by Kenneth MacMillan for the American Ballet
Theatre.
