Pike, the foreman of the Morgan Ranch, makes a promise to his dying boss to deliver$86,000 safely back to Mexico. News travels fast in Abilene and Pike soon finds himself trailed by a group of unsavoury characters, all anxious to relieve him of the money. On the trail he meets a smooth-talking gambler, a mute Indian who specialises in kung fu, and a beautiful woman. And all the time, shadowing them in the background, is the ruthless bounty hunter, Kiefer. Lee Van Cleef heads a fine cast in this hard-riding spaghetti Western.
