A bike ride through 1,500 miles of America with Mike Harding

Mike arrives in the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, and bases out with a Phillie fanatic called Gloria to watch America's favourite pastime. He looks in on a community which has turned its back on the 20th century, and meanders down to the Shenandoah river, where he swaps pedals for paddles and a ride on the rapids. Dusk falls with the rain as Mike samples his first wet hamburger.
